This pairing of courses prepares any Jira user to transition into the role of a Jira Administrator. Participants learn what's needed to get a Jira system up and running for one or more teams. They receive a solid introduction to Jira administration topics such as: user management, global and project permissions, project roles, and the creation and configuration of issue types, workflows, and screens. Teams also learn how to share project configurations using Jira schemes. Learners leave the workshop with the technical knowledge and confidence to make Jira hum. They also gain 'people smarts' to understand who to involve and what to ask of them. This is a great starting point for Jira super-users who are interested in becoming Atlassian Certified Jira Administrators (ACP-JA).

Atlassian creates a Training Credit account containing 20,000 credits when you purchase this package. Training credits in the account must be used within twelve months from the date of purchase or they expire. As a courtesy, Atlassian University sends reminder notifications at 6 months, 3 months and 1 month before the expiration date if there are unused credits in the account.

Getting the most from this package

Scheduling Onsite training

We'll send an instructor to your site, and you're not restricted to our public schedule. You get to select the date and time that's convenient for your group (subject to instructor availability). Give us a 1st and 2nd choice for date/time preference; we can usually meet one of them. We need at least 8-10 business days to coordinate all logistics, so please plan accordingly. With only people from your company in the class, the issues and questions are more relevant to your team. While we don't offer customized content, our instructor will speak with you prior to class to understand your team and areas within the courses to emphasize and/or de-emphasize.

Training Credits

Upon purchase of your package, we'll set up a Training Credits account that you can apply toward Team sessions and that team members can use for individuals sessions. Your coordinator schedules Team sessions with our Atlassian University registrars and your team members can use a designated passkey code to redeem individual sessions. You can configure your account so that approval is required to use the credits. Note that there is some flexibility in how you redeem your package. We've only recommended these combinations of packages based on what other customers have found helpful, but we're flexible and can customize the package within your training credit account balance to meet your unique requirements, as needed.
